Life Stills: Picnic in the park

A bunch of friends and I decided to make the best of a breezy spring day and headed out to have a picnic.We stuffed everything into bags and brought a Snuggie to sit on. Success.

The menu:
chips and guac
ham/turkey and cheese sandwiches
lemonade
sugar cookies
california cuties tangerines

The itinerary:
food
frisbee
climbing trees

For the guac:
4 large Hass avocados
1 small tomato diced
1/2 a small white onion, diced
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1/2 lime
salt, to taste

1. Slice, mix and mash the avocado
2. Add in the diced tomatoes, onion and cilantro
3. Squeeze in lime juice, mix in with salt
4. Add in 1 or 2 avocado pits to keep it fresh
5. Cover with saran wrap. Chill.
